The service was AMAZING! Our waitress, Priscilla made sure everything was to order and she even went the extra mile on my iced mocha. She made extra chocolate cream to add to my drink because I simply mentioned that I needed a lot of chocolate. When I asked about salsa, she said she'd check. Not only did she check, she had some made special for me! Overall, the food was good, the service was wonderful and the extra attention was greatly appreciated. Thank you, Priscilla, for making this a very pleasant dining experience. I will definitely be back!
Our waitress, Sharea was a pleasure to talk with. She gave excellent food recommendations. The restaurant was very clean, the juke box was a nice touch, make sure you read the back of the wood log chairs. To top all of that, the food was fantastic! Better come hungry, you'll leave stuffed!
The burgers here are absolutely delicious. I’ve gone back and forth between the California burger and the Western burger and honestly, the Western is my favorite. I used to come here for the comfort food until I discovered the burgers. The staff here is always super friendly. Always make you feel at home, especially after a long hard day on the road. And there’s nothing better than finishing off with one of the many dessert options. I switch it around but the bread pudding is on another level. Overall, no complaints, just keep up the good work and we’ll definitely see you again.
Very impressed with this diner! Breakfast served all day! The menu is huge, so it took awhile to figure out what to get. The prices were affordable, especially considering the portion size! The food was delicious! Reminded me of the random truck stop diners I'd get to eat at on road trips with my parents back in Oregon. The servers were great and the wait time from ordering was way shorter then I was expecting especially at the busy hour I ordered. I most definitely will return!
Since we found the Black Bear diner anytime we come across one we will stop there. We had breakfast. It was enormous and delicious. Our waiter was fantastic. Very helpful. Can't wait to return to the Black Bear diner.
Our first trip after opening was a huge disappointment. We've visited the Black Bear sites between Wa and Mt and always looked forward to the overall food & welcoming staff. WELL I AM GLAD TO REVIEW THIS LOCATION!! I couldn't stay away so gave Eloy another try. WOW! What a difference in our experience. Been back 3:times now! Katelin our server was a delight. She was busy but still offered great personal service to us and every other guest. She acknowledged each group and check every table with a smile and such a bubbly personality. On another trip we met server Ashley and again the service was wonderful and even felt a bit like "family". She made sure our food was as ordered and we were well taken care of. Black Bear is so lucky to have servers of this caliber and cooks that altho we as diners don't interact with much, it is obvious they take pride in what they put on the table. I am so glad I gave Black Bear, Eloy a second try and even happier they are now in MY backyard!!
First time here, had breakfast with the work crew before going to the job site. The staff is amazing, very kind, efficient, patient and professional. You really get the maximum bang for your buck here. The portions are outstanding. They're pancakes are the size of large cat iron skillet and pretty thick. The waffles are about the same size. I really enjoyed this place and will definitely be back. I'd like to try them out for lunch and dinner at some point.
Ms. Priscilla was AMAZING!!! She was joyful, attentive and absolutely lovely! She was knowledgeable about the mission of the Diner in helping children when we purchase a cup of coffee. The coffee was delicious! The newspaper menu was my favorite! Definitely recommend!
As a trucker, I had a 34 hour reset and I came to this diner at least 3 times and the staff was exceptional, even in their busy times they still catered to me as if I was the only customer in the restaurant. Last but not least, I want to give a special shout out to the gorgeous, full of life, diva— Ms. Priscilla. She sat me in the diner on the first day I came in and took care me until my last morning there. God bless this diner, God bless Ms. Priscilla.
Went about 7pm at night to grab some dinner. Plenty of seating with a calm diner atmosphere. Our server Marie was super awesome and very helpful with menu items and making sure we were informed and satisfied. We had some great tasting tri tip steak and yummy Mac and cheese 🧀 😋 Also got to taste a yummy Ceasar salad and some hash browns as well. The nice lady we checked out with was super friendly as well. Would definitely eat here again with the friendly staff and laid back diner atmosphere. Tons of awesome/cute bear stuff all over as well.
